ogether with Amanda Djerf we are bringing back this summer's favourite week. Our newest and most splendid concept ever - the LADYSLIDE week. A week where focus is on making new friends, surfing and just enjoying the best of our paradise in Costa Rica.
The LADYSLIDE week is for E V E R Y O N E!
It’s for the ladyslider wanting to take her surfing to the next level, for the ladyslider just looking for new friends to surf with, but it’s also the perfect place to try surfing for the first time.
18 - 25 January
15 - 22 February
This week is presented by our friends at Casall, and each participant will receive a lovely goodie bag!
2From dusk till dawn
One of my biggest passions is getting more girls out in the water and just out there living a more active life.
When I first started surfing I spent so much time trying to connect with other girls who surfed and most of the time I had to travel alone because I didn’t have many friends in Sweden who surfed. With Ladyslide I want to create that place where all of us who don't have the beach as our backyard can come together to surf and get to know each other.
My wish with the Ladyslide weeks is to share my passion for surfing, but also opening up the community and giving a platform for new friendships to be made.
When it comes to surfing I want to celebrate and embrace the female athleticism, and being a part of creating a space where girls feel confident and ”at home” in the line up is my motivation. This concept is not supposed to be excluding and everyone (yes boys) are welcome. But to me there’s nothing better than when a group of girls run down to the beach to surf together. It’s relaxed, playful and so much more about having fun than about performing.

More information Costa Rica
In Costa Rica we are based in the middle of the jungle in Santa Teresa, where you find the most gorgeous beaches and sunsets. Here we live in beautiful tree bungalows with a pool and yoga/work out deck. We have one surf lesson per day but since we live just steps away from where we surf one can easily surf all day. Every afternoon right before sunset we land in our bodies in a yoga or a meditation led by our yogini. With a nice 28-degree water it's the perfect place to become an ocean lady.
Santa Teresa is filled with charming boutiques, cafés and amazing restaurants. When we don't surf we like to lay under a palm tree, take a walk along the beach or visit one of our favorite cafés. Basically the place to go if you want to surf A LOT, relax and live in the moment. To me it's heaven on earth!
Flight and transfer
We have made it super easy for you to get to us!
Most guests arrive at San Jose international airport on Friday night and spend the first night at Hotel La Riviera. To make the trip as smooth as possible we have arranged a private transfer that leaves the hotel Saturday morning and takes you straight to us. The transfer costs 125 USD return, or 60 USD one way, and you will arrive in Santa Teresa around noon on Saturday. You book the transfer by answering our welcome mail that we send out the week before your trip with us.
For your return ticket we have arranged the transfer so you're back in San Jose on Saturday around 6 pm - making it possible to fly out already Saturday evening.
For a tighter budget there's very cheap hostels if you have to spend a night in San Jose and you can easily take the public bus to Santa Teresa, which is very cheap. I'll also gladly connect you with another girl arriving Friday evening so you can share the hotel room at La Riviera.
If you fly in or out at other times so you don't match our transfer, there's plenty of ways to get to and from Santa Teresa. Just send me an email and I'll help you arrange it!
If you're flying from Scandinavia the trip takes around 16 hours. You fly out Friday morning and arrive in San Jose around 9 pm Friday night. An advice is to look at KLMs flight leaving Sweden Friday morning and departing San Jose Saturday evening, perfect match for our transfer.
